Privacy Policy
How A&O Consulting handles information.
This policy explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, and how you can reach us with questions.
Summary
We collect the information you choose to send us through the contact form or by email. We use that information to respond to your inquiry, evaluate potential work, and operate the website.
Information we collect
We may collect the following information when you use the website:
- Contact details such as your name, email address, and company.
- Inquiry details and any other information you include in your message.
- Basic technical information needed to keep the site running, such as server logs or platform metadata.
How we use information
- To respond to your message and follow up on potential projects.
- To send the inquiry to the appropriate inbox or internal workflow.
- To improve the website, troubleshoot issues, and maintain basic security.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your information. We may share it with service providers that help us host the website, deliver email, or process form submissions. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship, and maintain our records unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses cookies that are necessary for the site or its hosting platform to function. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — which pages are viewed and whether the contact form is submitted — so we can improve the content.
Analytics only runs if you opt in.When you first visit, we ask. Until you choose “Accept”, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all — no request is made to Google and no analytics cookie is set. Declining is a single click and is presented no less prominently than accepting. If you decline, or later withdraw, any existing _ga cookies are deleted.
Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that hold a randomly generated identifier used to distinguish sessions and returning visitors. We do not enable any advertising features or ads-personalization signals, we do not use Analytics data for advertising, and IP addresses are anonymized (the Google Analytics 4 default). Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months, the Google Analytics 4 maximum.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferenceslink in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can also block these cookies with a browser that does so, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Your choices
You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete inquiry records where we are able to do so.
